Terms of service

MapTint helps you color the 50 US states and Washington, DC, add a legend, export PNG or SVG files, and keep editable settings in an account. It does not include world maps, country maps, counties or a native mobile app. MapTint is operated by Jianbo Ying in Shanghai, China. You must be at least 18 or the age of majority where you live.

You retain rights to your original titles, legends and color choices. You grant us permission to store and process saved settings to provide the service and, only when you choose sharing, to deliver them to link recipients. Do not upload unlawful content, sensitive personal information, arbitrary files or external media. Do not infringe others' rights, bypass limits, interfere with accounts, or use shared settings to impersonate the operator or another user.

Free includes PNG and SVG export, three account configurations and ten solid-color entries. Pro is $29.99 per year plus applicable tax and renews annually until canceled. Pro includes 1,000 configurations and 1,000 solid-color entries, with one saved previous version per configuration. Each configuration is limited to 32 KiB and 64 legend entries. Rate limits protect availability and are shown when reached. We do not automatically charge overages.

Creem handles checkout and payment under its buyer terms. Access is granted after a verified payment; a return URL alone does not prove payment. Cancel from Account → Billing → Manage subscription. Cancellation keeps the paid period available unless that payment is refunded or reversed. After Pro ends you can choose the three configurations and ten colors to keep editable; excess items can be exported for 90 days before removal.

Map data is provided by Natural Earth and rendered deterministically. Maps are illustrative, not authoritative boundaries, survey documents, navigation instructions or professional advice. Check whether the result is suitable for your use. We do not claim affiliation with Natural Earth, D3, MapChart or a government.

You may export and delete account data at any time. Account deletion also requests cancellation of renewal. If the payment provider cannot confirm cancellation, we show the request as pending and resolve it through support; we do not falsely mark it completed. For planned service closure or material data-policy changes we provide at least 30 days' notice and an export opportunity. Emergency legal or security action may require earlier restriction, with paid-service and data rights handled through support.

We provide support at support@maptint.world and respond within three business days. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, a specific recovery time, or accuracy for every professional purpose.
